A Nikon D300s with Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm lens.

I like visiting Ken Rockwell’s website. His reviews of camera and lenes always provide good insight and information. I also find myself always coming back to his photo taking tips, too.

I’d been hoping to buy a Nikon D300s with an 18-200mm VR II lens. It seems though a D90 would be a better choice for me, at least for now. Just hate spending good money after bad. Reality is, I’ve always learned more from taking pictures with the crappy cameras than with the good ones.

An experienced violinist can bring out the best of a Stratavarias. The same violinist can make any violin sound good —true, but not what he can do with a Stratavarias.
